Dorcas Ministries, Helping Neighbors Thrive
We had a previous opportunity to volunteer with Dorcas while participating in our Keller Williams Red Day. Red Day is a day we shut down all our offices with the sole purpose for agents to give where they live.
Dorcas Mission "At Dorcas Ministries, we help our neighbors thrive by providing financial and food assistance, training and coaching, client advocacy, a platform for people to make a difference, and a best in class thrift shop for our community."
We were blown away with the service first mentality of the volunteers, and staff. We were made to feel at home. After our tour we were put to work, sorting clothes, assisting with the check out lines, sorting items that were dropped off, as well as organizing and helping in the pantry.
